Activities of DIQA

  • Presented the University in MHRD’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) and the University was ranked at 53rd position in top 100 Universities of the country in 2019. The University was ranked 51 in the QS- BRICS Ranking.

  • Presented the University in MHRD’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) and the University was ranked at 47th position in top 50 Universities of the country in 2018. There was a quantum jump in the ranking from 73rd position in 2017 to 47th in 2018. The University was ranked significantly high in the QS- BRICS Ranking.
  • Published Annual Reports of the University regularly to document and highlight major activities and contribution of the University.

  • Published Annual Quality Assurance Reports regularly and submitted it NAAC as it a pre-requisite for NAAC assessment and accreditation.

  • Uploading Statistical Data AISHE portal and coordinating with affiliated colleges and providing training to them how to fill and upload data on AISHE Portal on DCF II.

  • Prepared and submitted monthly progress reports of the University to Raj Bhawan for perusal of Hon’ble Chancellor of the University.

  • Successfully got the critical analysis of the research output done through the third party intervention to figure out the trends in publications, citations and impact over the past five years. The best performing individuals and the departments were also identified. 

  • Collected online feedback on various facilities available in Departments and University viz. curricular facilities, co-curricular facilities and institutional facilities from Students and addressing their genuine grievances.

  • Separate budget has been generated for DIQAU and guidelines in this regard also issued to the Departments how to utilise the amount on student academic activities.

  • Created the platform for online application and evaluation system for the new faculty recruitments and promotions jointly with the Recruitment section and IT & SS.

  • Conducted a series of meetings and workshops on various quality related initiatives and mentored different non-accredited institutions for applying for accreditation.
