It is a pleasure to share with you the vision and initiatives of the Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA), University of Kashmir. Through this platform, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a culture of quality, academic excellence, innovation, and continuous institutional improvement.

At DIQA, we believe that quality is a continuous journey. It is the foundation of academic excellence and institutional growth. Our mission is to promote a culture of quality that supports excellence in teaching, research, innovation, governance, and community engagement.

In line with the vision of the University of Kashmir and the quality benchmarks of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), and the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), DIQA is committed to strengthening quality assurance and promoting continuous improvement across all academic and administrative activities.

Through academic and administrative audits, stakeholder feedback, outcome-based education, performance evaluation, and the adoption of best practices, we strive to enhance institutional effectiveness and academic excellence. These collective efforts have contributed to the University achieving the prestigious A⁺⁺ Grade from NAAC and securing a place among the top 50 universities in India and 8th among State Public Universities in the NIRF 2025 Rankings.

Quality is a shared responsibility. It thrives through the active participation of faculty, students, staff, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders, working together to foster excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
